sold his first course on real estate investing in
1996. It was called "How To
Buy Preforeclosure Houses For Big Profits". Later,
he wrote three additional books entitled, "How
To Buy Bank Repossessed Houses For Big Profits", "How
To Make Big Money With Probate Houses",
and "How
To Make Big Money At Foreclosure Auctions". He
offers all four for $97, according to his web site.
Lance started out buying and selling preforeclosure
and bank repossessed houses. Later, he began investing
in probate houses. Lance Young has been involved in
real estate investing since 1987.
He says
on his web site: "You're coming to the
homeowners' rescue... You'll have homeowner's thanking
you" He paints the picture that this is truly
a win-win situation for both of you, and that it's
a business you can be proud of. I've talked to
people from
both sides of this. The homeowner is never happy. He
is usually going through one of the toughest times
of his life. So I don't think that's true. I think
it would be better if he just admitted you have to
be hard hearted in this business, even though it could
be helpful to the home owner in the long run.

claims to average about $100 an hour by following
his own real estate strategy He claims
that you can do the same thing. One of his strategies
is to buy foreclosed homes and probate homes "dirt-cheap" with
a small deposit of around ten dollars Then immediately
flip them
for instant profits.
Lance may be right, but you've got to have it within
you to be a hard-headed business person, and know
that
you're
profiting from people during their difficult times.
The way Lance Young tells it, he's a hero saving the
day. Sorry, I can't go that far. Lance Young is probably
a really great guy. I just don't care for the way he
talks about making
money from distress as if it's something to really
be proud of. Just tell it like it is. It's an ugly
business.
