Anik Singal
I purchased
the Commission Domination by Anik Singal and gave
it a try. The concept is very interesting, and though
haven't had a site live long enough to tell, I think
it will work at least on a low level.
Anik gives
a speal filled with hopes and dreams. As most of the
other online riches guys, he starts out by telling
you how crappy the other push button software is and
all the guys selling it are crooks. then he goes on
to tell you how good his software is and what a wonderful
guy he is.
Here's
what I found.
After I
purchased I was directed to a website where I was
presented with multipe backsell products. The backsells
looked interesting, there was one selling keyword
research software, and one selling coaching. I believe
in checking out the basic system to see if they're
selling garbage before I pony up more money, so I
saved the pages for later and moved on.
Once I
got to the main system I found more bonuses that required
additional money liberally scattered around the site
along with more stuff on the keyword software and
the coaching. that's OK with me. I know that the additional
products are necessary to fund a project like this,
and may be worthwhile. I moved on to begin to create
a website.
First you
are instructed to do some keyword research and find
a niche to focus your website on. He has a video that
goes through the basics of this reasonably well and
simple enough that the newbie can figure it out. This
page also has a video selling the keyword research
software again. You put in a keyword phrase and the
system grabs some domain names so you can select one.
Not bad, but you can get that information almost anywhere
for free.
After you
buy a domain name, you go to step two. This is the
page where they recommend a host, you buy hosting
and setup your Wordpress site. Still simple stuff,
well presented, and you can find the info for free
almost anywhere. they have a recommended hot here,
one I don't use so I have no opinion about it.
Finally
it's getting to some nuts and bolts.
Step three
is where you "Energize your site". You fill
in a form with pertinenet info about your site, press
the button and the software loads themes and plugins
to set your site up. The problem for me was that though
the software loaded the stuff, it didn't activate
anything so I had no idea what to do with it. The
video was no help because it assumed this stuff was
activated, so the tutorial started in a place well
beyond where the site actually was.
I was having
trouble figuring this out, so I sent an email to support.
I waited a couple of days with no answer and sent
another one. In the meantime I went through the site
and video with a fine toothed comb and figured some
of the stuff out. I activated the plugins and the
correct theme and watched the video again a couple
of times.
No reply
from support.
With no
reply, I sent another email and I filled out the form
again to load the software. then I did the same thing
on another domain name I had laying around with the
same result. Finally a couple of days later I received
a response to my email. Here's the response:

Thanks for contacting us.
It seems that all the plugins were not properly
installed on your wordpress.
Could you run the third step again please?
Let us know if the site is still the same.

Obviously
a stock answer, but better than no answer at all.
After I did as requested, I sent an additional three
emails to support to try to get more specifics,
but at this time I have received no response. My
first response email went out over a week and a
half ago. I went through the site and loaded everything
manually that the software was supposed to do, then
moved on to step 4.
Step
4 - Customize your site
Here
the video goes through how to customize the posts.
After manually adding post and configuring everything
manually, I worked my way through this until I got
to the squeeze page. The video said just click on
some things to open the squeeze page to edit it,
however try as I might I couldn't find any sign
of it, and also couldn't see what the video was
telling me to click on. I'll manually install a
squeeze page in here. I happen to have one for the
niche I'm using, but I expect most folks don't have
this.
Step
5 - Boost Your Site
This
pings your site out to a number of different feeds
so that your site will get noticed by the search
engines quickly. If this actually works it's OK
but there's no way I could be sure it isn't just
a video game based on the earlier software failures.
Also, this can also be accomplished by entering
the URLs in your Wordpress Control Panel under settings/writing.

Training
From A to Z
They've
got a downloadable training CD filled with PDF files
that have lessons on various aspects of internet
marketing. I found this to be 90% fluff and a total
waste of time.
Bottom
line
I
can't recommend this course due to their terrible
support. I suspect that you might get this stuff
running if you bought their coaching program for
another 200 bucks, but I'm not about to do that
after this experience. I think their system will
work, but that's thanks to the Arras theme which
is a free theme for Wordpress, and some of the plugins.
Also free for Wordpress. If you know what you are
doing, you can get some valuable info here, but
for a newbie you would be completely lost. At least
based on my experience.
