How to Blog 4 Cash

A step by step instruction manual to setup a blog that will form the centerpiece of your internet business. Easy enough to do that anyone can learn how.

1. Pick 5-6 markets that you want to look at. These should be broad topics that you know something about and feel comfortable working with. An example would be pets, or a specific pet such as dogs. From these general topics, you will do some keyword research to refine them into tight niches.

2. Download the free marketing course "Mining Money Online" at www.dynamicme.com/MiningMoneyOnline. Included in this offer is a 7day trial of IM Advantage for $4.95. You will need a tool included with this trial so you can quickly do the keyword research necessary to find the niche you want to focus your website on. The tool you need is called "Keywrd Blueprint". Install it on your computer and view the instruction video. The reason I highly recommend this is that it is extremely easy to use. Pick 6 keyword phrases per market that you want to focus on. While you are in the trial period, be sure to look through the other materials there to get an idea of what is available.

3. Check out the keyword phrases you found with Keyword Blueprint using Google's External Keyword Tool. You can find that at Google Adwords External Keyword Tool. Type your first keyword phrase in the box marked: Word or phrase(one per line). The Global Monthly Search volume should be at least 1500 per month. Preferably over 3000. Too high and there's too much competition, too low and it just isn't worth the trouble. Pick the best keyword phrase in each topic to use for your domain name.

4. If you have a domain registrar you are happy with, feel free to use them, otherwise go to www.cyberspaceregister.com and choose a domain name for each topic you chose to work with. This is my site and I keep the prices as low as possible to make things easier for my customers. Use the keyword phrases that you got from Keyword Blueprint. Example: With the phrase "internet marketing", you hope to find a domain name with only that keyword phrase in it. Example: internetmarketing.com. You want to use either .com, .net, or .org. Stay away from the other domain suffixes. If none of those are available, the next best thing is to hyphenate it. Example: internet-marketing.com, .net, or.org. If none of those are available, put a word at the end of the domain name. Example: internetmarketingelite.com, .org, or .net. Google likes it better if you own a domain name for more than one year at a time. If you can afford it, purchase them for at least 2 years, even 5 years may be better.

5. Now, you'll need web hosting. Free blogs or free websites just don't have the reliablity, or the ability to get good search engine rankings from Google, and the other engines. The best hosting for beginner to intermediate marketers is at Host Monster. This is the most reliable low cost host around. You purchase one account for $4.95 per month a year in advance. Even cheaper monthly costs are available for purchasing 2 or more years. You can put unlimted domains on one account, so you can begin expanding your enterprise right away. Purchase through this link and I'll personally help you get it setup and get you started.

6. Now it's time to setup your blog. Go to your control panel at HostMonster.com and point your name servers to your hosting company. Feel free to call me at 419-424-3896 and I will walk you through this. It's not difficult, but there are a few gotchas.

7. Once you have that running, you'll need to setup your Wordpress blog. The easiest, fastest way to do that is at Wordpress Direct. They have a 15 day free trial. Pick it up through this link. I've been using these guys for 6 months now, and I've found their system to be extremely reliable.

8. Once you've set this up, you'll put up your own posts, and start linking in from other sites. Build it slowly and you should have no problems.
