Cory Rudl

I purchased the complete internet marketing program Cory Rudl created. When I was a beginner to internet marketing, I thoroughly enjoyed reading his course. And I learned quite a bit from it. However, at the beginning of my career, I didn't know a whole lot and I was easily impressed.

Looking back, my opinion of cory has changed a lot. I now think he was a very good marketer. I say "Was" because Cory has passed away in an automobile racing accident.

In my opinion, cory Rudl is a master in selling you his products while teaching you internet marketing at the same time. No one could do this as well as than cory.

cory creates lots of services and products. Most of what he recommends are his own, so he creates quite a few revenue streams. cory considers all of his products as "the best". I don't think that is really possible.

To me, cory oversells the stuff in his courses. I don't mind a marketer pitching some things in a course. Up selling is to be expected. cory, though went overboard, and left me feeling like I didn't receive fair value for my cash.

All though it's standard practice with internet marketers, I still don't like when I pay my good money for a marketing course, and the author is trying to sell me a whole bunch of stuff inside it. I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't make profit from the items he's trying to sell me, but since it's very clear that he is profiting, I did feel let down after finishing the materials I received from Mr. Rudle.

I tend to trust the marketing experts who recommend products they are not involved in along with their own. I think it gives them a lot more credibility. for example, if you're talking about tracking traffic on your web site, I would recommend www.webtrends.com, the leader in the field. cory would use something like www.CoryRudl.com/webTrends

It would be like if you bought a dvd movie at full price and there were commercials in it. You bought the movie purely for entertainment or education, and you paid extra to have no commercials, but you got them anyway.

When he uses that kind of link, I can see he's profiting from his advice, and too much of that weakens his credibility.
