John Polk was doing a lot of infomercials on TV some time ago that he sold as direct marketing.

Couple of things interested me at the tine. First, his infomercial had little to do with direct marketing. Instead, it was about network marketing. Of course, if he had sold his system as network marketing, the sales would have suffered because people shy away from network marketing.

Second, he looked really familiar to me. He had been on TV earlier welling a distressed property system. One similar to one tha William McCorkel sold and was jailed for.

Well... John ended up indited and convicted for fraud himself.
