Traffic Swarm

Traffic Swarm is a very inexpensive traffic generator. They are free to join, and you get credits for traffic in various ways. When you first join, they give you 100 bonus credits for activating your account. Activation happens when you have accrued 50 credits.

Also, when you first sign up there are a couple of ezines you can sign up for to get another 100 points apiece. Then, you can hook it up as the start page on your web browser. You get a credit everytime you open your browser. Also, there is an area where they run ads. Each time you click on an ad you get credits.

I haven't had any problems with spyware after hooking this up either. They do like their pop-unders though, which I find rather irritating. For those of you who don't know what a pop-under is, it's a window that opens up behind your web browser. It usually has ads, and you don't see it until you close your browser.

The traffic is not very targeted, which is my main gripe. The web site is professional, and easy to navigate. It's really hard to tell how much good Traffic Swarm does, but the price is right, and anything that gets your site out can't be all bad.
